In Charo, Michoacán, where traditions are woven with time and the land breathes history, a mezcal is born that today puts the name of its people and its origin on high. Mezcal Gotas de Dios has been awarded the Gold Medal in the XIII National Brands® Competition of Mezcal and Mexican Distillates 2024, awarded by the Academy of Mezcal and Maguey, A.C.
This recognition is not just an award; it is the testimony of a path forged with dedication, passion, and deep respect for the mezcal tradition of Michoacán. Our mezcal, made with Cupreata and Azul maguey, reached a Taste Factor of 94.92%, thanks to a sensory profile that combines complexity, persistence, and harmony in every sip.
In their tasting, the judges highlighted its notes of penca, damp grass, green fruits, and citrus, wrapped in subtle smoky and earthy nuances that evoke the landscapes and aromas of our region. Each drop tells the story of artisan hands that, with patience and mastery, transform the agave into a liquid jewel.

This triumph belongs to the entire community that believes in the quality, authenticity, and pride of what is made in Charo. Gotas de Dios is not just a mezcal: it is the spirit of our land, ready to conquer palates and hearts in Mexico and the world.
“Mezcal, Mexico’s pride for the world.”
